After reading about Carpinteria linebacker Eric Stein‘s ambitions to become a fighter pilot someday, I had a gut feeling he’d be going to the Naval Academy -- and I was right.
According to Rivals.com, Stein committed to Navy after spending the weekend in Annapolis, Md. Stein, who’s best known for his bone-crushing tackling skills, has been recruited as an ‘athlete’ and could see time at linebacker, defensive back or tight end for the Midshipmen.
Stein recorded 118 tackles and nine sacks and also had a team-high 662 receiving yards and four TDs for the Warriors this season.
