OK, this won’t be one of the Dolphins’ better games.
When asked what he remembered most about the first meeting against Fairfax, Palisades boys’ basketball Coach James Paleno said, ‘the bad shooting. We were like 16 for 50; 8 of 25 from the three-point line, and 8 of 25 from the two-point line.’
It must feel like deja vu for Palisades at Fairfax tonight.
The Dolphins made one -- count ‘em one -- field goal in 12 attempts in the first quarter. Palisades was a little better in the second quarter, making 5 of 13 shots, including a pair of threes. Still, no one should be surprised that Fairfax is leading, 40-17, at the half.
