Boys’ basketball: Thousand Oaks holds off Simi Valley

Antonio Lopez made two free throws with two seconds left to clinch a 66-62 victory by Thousand Oaks over Simi Valley in a game for first place in the Marmonte League on Wednesday night.

Lopez finished with 18 points for the Lancers (13-2, 3-0). Brad Lewis scored 24 points for Simi Valley (10-5, 2-1).

Simi Valley trailed throughout but had a chance to tie, missing on three shots in the final 10 seconds.
