Tiger International sold a trucking firm at a loss.

Los Angeles-based Tiger International said it sold 75% of its Hall’s Motor Transit unit to a group of Hall’s executives. Terms of the sale were not disclosed, but Tiger said it will record a loss of about $10 million on the deal. Hall’s, based in Mechanicsburg, Pa., lost $1.8 million in the 1983 third quarter. Tiger is a diversified transportation company.
