CSUN Gets Its No. 1 Recruit in Hart’s Burke

Monica Burke of Hart High signed a national letter of intent to play basketball at Cal State Northridge.

Burke, a 5-6 point guard, was a second-team All-CIF selection and was chosen as the Foothill League’s Most Valuable Player. Burke was the Lady Matador’s No. 1 recruit.

“Monica will add a great deal of ball handling and should help put a new dimension into our game,” CSUN Coach Leslie Milke said.
