Saddleback Wins State JC Golf Title

Saddleback College won the State Community College golf championships Monday at Rancho Canada Country Club in Carmel Valley, beating College of the Sequoias, 768-773.
Saddleback won the 36-hole tournament for the second time in three years. The medalist for the day was Ventura’s Mark Singer, who shot a 143. Kevin McLaughlin led Saddleback with a 148.
