Control Data Lays Off 100 at Disk Plant

LINCOLN, Neb. — Control Data Corp. said it will reduce the work force at its computer disk production plant in Lincoln by 100 people as of June 1.
Katherine Wardrop, manager of public relations for Control Data in Minneapolis, said that a continuing decline in demand for data storage equipment caused the cut in the work force.
