Elaine Mandel of Westwood has received a $5,000 Affiliates of UCLA Scholarship for college work in political science at UCLA. Gene Lim of West Los Angeles received a $1,500 scholarship for his studies in electrical engineering. The two Westside students are among 25 high school students who were top winners in the UCLA Alumni Assn. Advisory and Scholarship Program.
