John M. Seitman has been elected president of the San Diego County Bar Association for 1986, it was announced Wednesday.
Seitman, 43, follows Deputy Dist. Atty. Melinda Lasater as head of the 4,000 member association and will be installed as the group’s new president in December. He specializes in commercial litigation and is member of the firm Ellsworth, Corbett, Seitman & McLeod.
A native of Illinois, Seitman received his law degree from the University of Illinois School of Law in 1966. He has practiced in San Diego since 1967 and is a member of various local lawyers’ organizations.
Seitman is married and lives in Encinitas with his wife and two sons.
