Datum Inc. of Anaheim has received a contract from Northrop Corp.’s electronics division in Hawthorne to make electronic timing equipment used in testing aircraft and missiles. Value of the initial contract is in excess of $400,000, with options that could make the contract worth $1.2 million, according to William E. Baldwin, president of Datum’s timing division. Datum produces precision frequency and timing instrumentation for military, industrial, space and commercial applications.
