‘Sneaky Pay Raise’ in L.A.

The epitome of hypocrisy is exemplified by the action of our City Council in a 12 to 0 vote to raise their already bloated salaries by 10%, while limiting landlords to a maximum of 4% in annual increases.
And our ceremonial, ribbon-cutting mayor needed no arm-twisting to promptly sign the bill, which, incidentally, elevates his salary from $80,708 to $88,778.
Oh yes, and will Art Snyder really resign from the council in July, as he has announced? Anybody want to bet?
