Les E. Dietzman, 42, has been named executive vice president of merchandising for Mervyn’s, the Hayward-based department store chain. Dietzman moved from J. L. Hudson’s to join Mervyn’s in 1983 as vice president and general merchandise manager. Both companies are subsidiaries of Dayton Hudson Corp.
