Dr. Charles L. Lippincott, a veterinary surgeon at the California Animal Hospital, has received the 27th Gaines Award for his contributions to small-animal medicine and surgery.
The award was presented by the Gaines Dog Research Center at the annual meeting of the American Veterinary Medical Assn. in Las Vegas. Lippincott, who works in general and orthopedic surgery, has written 123 scientific articles and papers.
