Sam Demonteverde has been appointed assistant director of the Western Region Asian American Project, a United Way program that identifies needs of Asian Americans in the western area of Los Angeles County.
Demonteverde, formerly a program director for the Los Angeles YMCA, will be in charge of assessing the Asian community’s needs and developing education programs.
