Shopping Plaza Opening Slated

The $4-million Sherwood Shopping Plaza, anchored by a 38,000-square-foot Toys ‘R’ Us store, will open this week at the northeast corner of Florence and Eastern avenues in Bell Gardens.
The center was built by JHL Development Co., Bell Gardens, in conjunction with the Toys ‘R’ Us chain and was designed by Cassis Corp., St. Louis. The general contractor is Lusardi Construction, San Marcos.
Parking for nearly 400 cars is provided. In addition to the toy store, 19,000 square feet of space is provided. Tenants include a family restaurant and a jewelry store.
