HHF Corp. bought 19.3-million shares of Strauss.

The company, which is owned by Levi Strauss & Co.’s president Robert D. Haas and other members of the firm’s founding family, purchased the common shares under its cash tender offer for all outstanding shares of Levi Strauss at $50 per share. HHF said that 7.3 million shares of Levi Strauss & Co.’s stock have been contributed to HHF by certain members of the founding families of Levi Strauss & Co. As a result of these transactions, HHF now owns 26.6 million shares of Levi Strauss & Co., representing 72% of the outstanding shares.
