Infernal Machines

Who in the world invented those infernal leaf-blowing machines that we have seen all over our cities?
It is difficult, to say the least, to close the car windows and drive at the same time, but one’s first reaction is to duck . They make such a mess and are an awful nuisance to both motorists and pedestrians. There should be a law against just plain dust-blowing!
