Cookie Rojas, a former major league infielder who is now a special assignment scout for the Angels, filed for bankruptcy in Kansas City. Rojas and his wife, Candy, listed debts of $311,962 and assets of $58,145.
Rojas recently closed a Latin-style restaurant he had opened in Overland Park, Kan., in August. He also filed bankruptcy on behalf of the restaurant, listing $411,117 in debts and $190,055 in assets.
