20th Century Fox Film bought 3 Metromedia units.

The Los Angeles-based entertainment company said its parent company, Fox Inc., has acquired the Metromedia production unit as well as Metromedia Video Productions and Evergreen Television Production for undisclosed terms from Metromedia. Metromedia Producers distributes the popular ABC series “Dynasty,” which now boasts 141 episodes, as well as the off-network series “Vegas.” In addition, Metromedia co-produces and distributes a made-for-syndication program called “Small Wonder,” which appears in 107 television markets.
