Christ College Eliminated From Tournament, 93-83

Christ College Irvine was eliminated Wednesday from the National Little College Athletic Assn. tournament in Bristol, Tenn., losing, 93-83, to National College of South Dakota in a consolation semifinal game.
Five National players scored in double figures. Charles Jones led National with 19 points (on 9 of 12 field-goal attempts), and Terry Jones added 18.
Christ College (25-8) was paced by Derwin Appleberry’s 30 points. Brian Beal had 20 points, Tim Surridge added 11 and Robert Pallotta 10.
