Travelers Leases in Universal City

The Travelers Insurance Cos. have leased 55,000 square feet of space for 15 years, with a consideration in excess of $25 million, in the new 10 Universal Plaza building in Universal City. Cushman Realty Corp., Los Angeles, represented Travelers.
Occupancy is expected next month in floors 26 through 29 in the building owned by MCA Inc. and Texaco Inc. The firm’s regional office will remain in the Travelers Building, 3600 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles. Jordan & Associates, Los Angeles, is acting as consulting tenant developer for the insurance concern, coordinating an estimated $2 million in tenant improvements.
