Store Safe Stolen: A safe containing an estimated $100,000 in valuables was stolen early Tuesday from a jewelry store, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman said. Deputies arrived at Interchron Jewelers, 31931 Camino Capistrano, five minutes after an alarm in the store was triggered at 1:27 a.m., Lt. Dick Olson said. The front door had been pried open and some display cases had been moved, but the only thing missing was the safe, Olson said. He said it apparently was moved with a dolly.
