CAIRO — Gunmen in a speeding car opened fire today on four Israelis outside an international trade fair, killing one and wounding three others, Egyptian television reported.
The state-owned Middle East News Agency said the Israelis--two men and two women--were taken to a nearby hospital, where one woman died of her wounds. The television report, confirmed by government sources and the Middle East News Agency, said the attack took place as the four Israelis were returning home by car. A letter received by a Western news agency claimed responsibility for the attack in the name of Egypt’s Revolution.
