Defending Dornan’s ‘Little Jew’ Remark

The arrogance with which Lehrer comes to assure us that Dornan’s phrase “disloyal betraying little Jew” is not indicative of anti-Semitism is mind-boggling. What can the word “Jew” mean in context of “disloyal betraying”?
Lehrer fails to understand that Dornan’s support of American aid to Israel in Congress is motivated by U.S. interests and does not preclude Dornan’s anti-Semitic sentiments, as illustrated by his spontaneous remark.
I urge that Dornan and Lehrer both resign their posts.
