Culver City : Theater Firm Seeks Permit

A movie theater company has applied for a conditional-use permit allowing construction of a 2,500-seat, eight-screen movie theater in the Studio Village Shopping Center on Jefferson Boulevard.
Pacific Theatres-Harvard Theatres Inc. wants to build a 38,000-square-foot complex on a parcel that includes commercial and retail zoning classifications.
The commission will consider the request at its May 14 meeting, according to city planner Jay Cunningham.
