Westminster : Man Fatally Stabbed in Parking Lot Melee

A 24-year-old Westminster man was stabbed to death early Saturday in a fight between two groups of men in a parking lot, police said. The victim was identified as Jack Gaylen Templeton.
Police Sgt. Larry Russell said the incident took place at 2:19 a.m. in a parking lot at the rear of an apartment complex at 7181 21st St. He said that two groups of three or four men each became engaged in a fight “for some unknown reasons.”
During the fight, Templeton was stabbed once in the chest. He died an hour later at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital.
Russell said there was no indication of gang activity in the fight. No suspects have been arrested.
