After watching this one-hour sing-along musical about a 6-year-old girl whose stuffed toys come to life and treat her to a magic birthday party, you may wonder whether $29.95 is the tape’s price or the production’s budget. The acting is woeful, costumes and sets are tacky and most of the magic occurs off camera. But there are 21 nicely orchestrated songs for reading-age kids to follow in an accompanying booklet. Parents beware! The tunes are catchy, and your co-workers may find you singing “Itsy Bitsy Spider” or “I’m a Little Teapot.”
