The Sloane Rangers

I’m sure I’m not the first person to point out that in the Footloose in London column of March 23, the Sloane in Sloane Rangers was misspelled throughout as Sloan. And I wouldn’t call them yuppies. Young and trendy they may be, but they are hardly the bright, self-made ambitious types typified as yuppies. They tend to work in jobs that sound terrific, like Sotheby’s or the Royal Geographical Society, where the pay is awful, but since they are heavily subsidized by mummy and daddy it doesn’t really matter.
