Shopping Center Completed in Palm Desert

Plaza de Monterey, a $9-million neighborhood shopping center developed by Carver Cos. of Palm Springs and San Gabriel, is now open at Country Club Drive and Monterey Avenue, Palm Desert.
The 87,000-square-foot center contains a 47,000-square-foot Lucky market, a Mobile service station and 20 specialty stores. Leasing is handled by Carver Management Corp., Palm Springs.
The center was designed by architects Bernard K. K. Leung & Associates, Palm Desert, and Leidenfrost, Horowitz & Associates, Burbank, with Industrial Design & Development, Palm Springs. The general contractor is Grant General Contractors Inc., Carlsbad, with engineering by Morse Consulting Group, Palm Desert.
