Chapman’s Wakesa Advances in Tennis

Chapman College’s Paul Wakesa defeated Steve Yu of UC Riverside, 6-3, 2-6, 6-4, to win the ITCA/Rolex Small College Regionals at Claremont McKenna College.

The victory qualifies Wakesa for the ITCA/Rolex Small College Nationals, to be held Dec. 7-9 in Sanibel, Fla. Troy Turnball, Chapman’s No. 1 player last year, is the defending champion of both the regional and national tournaments.
