MOCK OF FAME

So Chuck Berry can’t get his star on the Walk of Fame.

Maybe he should have signed on with Capitol/EMI Records--a Hollywood company. They seem to have better “luck” in getting stars for their artists (Helen Reddy, Tina Turner, etc.). After all, MCA is a Valley company!

The person that I feel deserves a star, Little Richard, has been soundly ignored for years.

Rock ‘n’ roll may be here to stay, but “grease” is the word! Keep rockin’ Chuck. Keep rollin’ Richard! P.S. Don’t forget how long it took for Billie Holiday and the Three Stooges to get their stars. Too bad they couldn’t be there to enjoy it.
