FALL SPORTS HIGHLIGHTS : Thousand Oaks Volleyball Team Wins 2-A Playoff

Julie Chelleveold had 11 kills and five digs to lead Thousand Oaks High to a 16-14, 15-12, 15-9 victory over Paso Robles in the second round of the Southern Section 2-A Division girls volleyball playoffs Saturday at Paso Robles.
Beth Wilcox added 10 kills and three service aces for Thousand Oaks (14-4).
Campbell Hall def. St. Anthony’s, 15-11, 15-6, 5-15, 15-9--Led by the powerful hitting of Cherise Smith and the setting of Nicole Holland, Campbell Hall advanced to the third round of the Southern Section 1-A volleyball playoffs. Smith had eight kills and 12 blocks. Holland had 22 assists.
Burroughs def. Redondo, 16-14, 15-1, 10-15, 15-8--Debbie Penny had 20 kills and Mary Ann Wagner had 16 to lead Burroughs to a 3-A Southern Section second-round playoff victory at Burroughs.
Westlake def. Magnolia, 9-15, 15-1, 15-13, 15-7-- Dana Simone had eight kills and four service aces, and Sandy Kranz added eight kills as Westlake upset top-seeded Magnolia in the Southern Section 2-A playoffs at Westlake.
Calabasas def. La Reina, 15-8, 15-8, 11-15, 15-3--Heidi Thorsen, Sandi Thomsen and Kelly Martin led sixth-ranked Calabasas to an upset over fourth-ranked La Reina in the second round of the 3-A Southern Section playoffs at Thousand Oaks High.
GIRLS TENNIS
Chaminade 13, Glenn 5--Faire Stanley, Abigail Villena and Sarah Eipe swept their singles sets to lead top-ranked Chaminade (15-2) in a second-round Southern Section 2-A playoff match at Chaminade.
Louisville 15, Keppel 3--Robyn Brown and Lauralyn McCarthy swept their singles matches as third-ranked Louisville (15-6) rolled to an easy victory in a second-round Southern Section match at Keppel.
