Do Dodgers Really Have to Raise Prices?
When a team finishes in next-to-last place in its division, still puts 3 million people through its turnstiles--a feat accomplished only seven times in the history of major league sports, all by the same team--I find it extremely questionable that the Dodgers find a need to raise their ticket prices.
I must assume that the Dodgers are going to use this price increase to teach their relief pitchers, such as Ken Howell, how to protect leads; to teach their infielders how to field their positions, and to instruct their hitters how to hit with runners on base. May I assume that?
