Ducommun Inc., the Cypress-based electronics distributor, said Monday that Ronald F. Jacobs, executive vice president and general manager of its Data Systems group, has resigned and will not immediately be replaced.
Phil Roussey, vice president of marketing for Ducommun’s Kierulff division, was promoted to vice president of the parent company’s electronics distribution operations and was assigned to oversee the data systems business.
Jacobs is the second high-ranking executive to leave Ducommun in recent months. Earlier, John Abram, the executive vice president of its Kierulff division, submitted his resignation.
A spokesman said there was no connection between the “two unrelated incidents of movement of people.”
