USIU Ends Season With Volleyball Win

SAN DIEGO — United States International University ended its volleyball season Wednesday night with a 15-13, 15-8, 7-15, 12-15, 15-9 nonconference victory over No. 20 Colorado State (27-10) at the La Jolla Jewish Community Center.
Nancy Dome had 27 kills and Claudia Johnson had 22 for USIU (8-4, 20-15). Colorado State’s Angie Knox led both teams with 33 kills, and Cindy Lox recorded 70 assists.
USIU finished third in the West Coast Athletic Conference.
