WINDSOR, Mass. — A Teledyne Inc. executive jet crashed into a mountain Wednesday on approach to an airport, killing the four executives and two crew members on board, a company spokesman said.
Assistant President Berkley Baker said the executives from Teledyne Post of Des Plaines, Ill., a subsidiary of the Los Angeles-based company, were headed to Pittsfield to visit a paper supplier. He declined to identify them or the two pilots of the Beech 100 turboprop jet until relatives could be notified. The cause of the crash was under investigation.
