RESEARCHER GETS ’86 LENNON AWARD

Ken Igarashi, a graduate student in ethnomusicology at UCLA, has won the 1986 John Lennon Award in music.
Igarashi received $1,000 to undertake a study of how audiences respond to different types of music.
