Don’t Just Play Hard, Play Dirty

I don’t know, maybe the point of sport has changed. Maybe football should be played in a dark alley with clubs and chains. Maybe football would be boring if we couldn’t watch some 280-pound defensive lineman seriously injure a talented quarterback. Well, Mr. Downey, if the entire league was composed of these “tough guys,” I’d be buying stock in companies that manufacture stretchers.
