Local News in Brief : Rock-Climbing Victim Was Canoga Park Man

Aman who apparently fell to his death last weekend at a popular rock-climbing area in Chatsworth has been identified as Alan Parker Stout, 23, of Canoga Park, Los Angeles police said Tuesday.
Stout was found dead Sunday morning at the foot of a rock formation known as Stony Point. An autopsy is pending, but Stout, who was wearing tennis shoes, appeared to have slipped from a rock that was wet from a recent rain, Lt. Warren Knowles said.
