A Granada Hills man was killed Monday when the pickup truck he was driving skidded through an intersection in Valencia, hit a curb and overturned, the California Highway Patrol said.
Randolph John Wolfe, 39, was northbound on Rockwell Canyon Road when his truck went out of control and skidded through the intersection at Valencia Boulevard, east of the Golden State Freeway, about 10:20 p.m., Officer Bill Jenson said.
A passenger in the truck was treated at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital for scalp lacerations and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Wolfe, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene, Jenson said.
