Explosion, Fire Shut Down Electrical Power Plant

DALLAS — An electrical power plant damaged by an explosion and fire will remain closed while investigators search for the cause of the blast, utility officials said Tuesday. Officials at Texas Utilities Electric Co. said they had no idea what ignited the blast Monday night at the 10-story, natural gas-fired generator.
