Yezback Leads USIU Past UCSD, 106-94

SAN DIEGO — Joe Yezback scored 28 points and Kelly Andrews scored 15 points and had 15 rebounds Tuesday night to lead United States International University to a 106-94 victory over UC San Diego in a nonconference basketball game at Golden Hall.

USIU is 10-15, UCSD is 18-8.

USIU led at halftime, 53-38, and by as many as 19 points in the second half. Russ Heicke added 15 points for USIU.

Kevin Stewart scored 23 points and Greg Kamansky added 19 for UCSD.
