Esperanza Takes Over No. 1 Ranking in Poll

Esperanza High School, the defending Southern Section 4-A champion and Empire League leader, is the new No. 1 team in this week’s Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. baseball poll. Previously top-ranked Servite fell to No. 2 after losing to Bishop Amat, 6-5, Saturday.
