The U.S. Open Clay Court Championships in Indianapolis this year will include a masters division. It will not be part of the regular tournament, but will be designed to attract well-known players. Among those invited were Arthur Ashe, Bobby Riggs, Pancho Gonzalez, Fred Stolle, Cliff Drysdale and Indianapolis resident Chuck DeVoe.
