Israeli helicopter gunships carried out two rocket attacks on Palestinian guerrilla bases near Sidon in southern Lebanon. Four Palestinians, including two guerrillas, were wounded in the first attack, Palestinian sources said. In the second raid, two buildings were reported hit. “All helicopters returned safely to base,” an army spokeswoman said in Tel Aviv. “The pilots reported good strikes.” The Israelis have made 12 such raids in south Lebanon this year, three of them in the last two days.
