SACRAMENTO — An Orange County nurse said she may travel around the world after winning an annuity worth $1 million Saturday in the state lottery’s Big Spin.
Barbara Grabill became the lottery’s 77th millionaire after the white ball on the rainbow-colored wheel fell into a million-dollar slot.
Grabill and her husband, Doug, had planned a trip to China and Hong Kong this year.
“I had a dream one time to travel the world,” the 41-year-old Orange resident said. “I don’t know if I’ll do that, but this will sure get me to the Orient.”
Grabill will receive about $40,000 annually after taxes for 20 years.
