Siragusa Shines in Fullerton Intrasquad Game

Sophomore quarterback Carlos Siragusa ran a bootleg into the end zone with 2:37 remaining in the game to lead the white team to a 21-17 victory over the orange team in Cal State Fullerton’s May Bowl intrasquad scrimmage Saturday night at Fullerton High School.
Siragusa, who completed 10 of 17 passes for 154 yards and 1 touchdown with 2 interceptions, rallied the white team, known as Lloyd’s Boys, from a 14-0 deficit.
Ronnie Barber, the Titans’ No. 1 quarterback, completed 8 of 15 passes for 90 yards with 1 interception for the orange team, known as the Mad Hatters. Quarterback Tony Dill was 3 of 10 for 26 yards with 3 interceptions for the orange team.
William Robinson was the game’s leading rusher, gaining 58 yards on 6 carries for the orange squad. Eric Franklin carried the ball 6 times for 53 yards for the white team.
John Gibbs caught 3 passes for 46 yards and 2 touchdowns for the orange team.
