David Benson, owner of San Francisco’s Condor Club, faces up to ten years in prison for evading more than than $51,000 in federal income taxes. Benson, 48, reported earning less than $12,000 in 1981 and 1982 when he actually made more than $147,000, said U.S. Attorn1702436938was convicted on two counts of income tax evasion and acquitted of a third count, also faces up to $110,000 in fines. The Condor Club is best known for its former star, topless dancer Carol Doda.
