Lomita : City Treasurer to Retire

City Treasurer Marie Novak, who was appointed to the post in 1976, is retiring on Aug. 1. The 50-year-old San Pedro resident began her career with the city 21 years ago as a bookkeeper.
City Administrator Walker Ritter’s office will assume treasurer responsibilities until a replacement is appointed.
