Dance Performance Set for Beach

“Boundary Waters,” a 45-minute outdoor dance performance by Mary Jane Eisenberg and her dance troupe, Shale, will be presented at 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, as part of Santa Monica’s summer arts festival.
The performance will start at Lifeguard Station 26, Ocean Park Boulevard and Barnard Way, and will proceed north on Santa Monica Beach to Station 24.
The three-act performance features five dancers, five members of a Bruce Fowler’s “Enormous Bones” trombone band and six performers.
The event is made possible by the City of Santa Monica and the California Arts Council. The festival is sponsored by Smarts, an organization involving the city Arts Commission and the nonprofit Santa Monica Arts Foundation, according to Executive Director Henry Korn.
